I was at the carnival last year and got 1 ride on Chainsaw and Screamer, along with other rides I am not new to. Anyway, I actually felt like I was about to puke, for the first time. Im starting to feel old.

With that being said, after those flip upside down many times, I feel if this spins the same number of times, I might feel the same way. I picture this ride having a great theme and 1 or 2 small buildings to stop in, like FireChaser Express, but turning from one side to the other to see stuff from both sides of the track (picture Disney World's Haunted Mansion ride). I also picture it staying in a position other than forwards when you are going fast. Since they did away with the reverse cars on TNT, I think this will be the backwards or sideways ride they are allowed to not run forwards for those thrill seekers like me who love riding any direction but forwards because it makes it feel EXTREME.

I will look into tweaking the settings again to allow for larger photos. We don't have a huge amount of storage space though, so I have to keep a reign on it. A lot of photos uploaded directly from cameras are deceivingly huge in filesize.

Facebook is good way to share photos, but you have to know how to do it publicly otherwise it can turn into a headache. Posting directly to the SDCFans page is a good way to do it though because I will see it and share it on the main feed.

There's also imgur.com, which is one of the better and easier to use free image hosting sites.

My problem was since I tried uploading them on my slow internet on Thursday, but didnt work, I then went to the library and it said I already posted it on here when it clearly didnt go thru. That page blocked me from posting that 1 post only. Please remove that.

Also forgot to mention, I rode the train and saw a few pieces of track in the employee lot. Didnt get pics, but the 1 I saw the best was a piece that curves up.

Not sure where the Holidays in Midtown thread is, so I will post this here. As I walked thru Midtown the other day, I looked at the new platform, but saw something rather strange on it. It is a speaker. Im thinking this will be a popular place with some sort of tree or something set to music on it.

White Water Discussion / Re: SDC and White Water in one day

I highly recommend not trying SDC and WW both in 1 day, especially on Friday or Saturday. What else do you have to do that you dont have much time? If you want to do both parks, just forget the show or whatever else it is and do each park on a separate day. If you try to do both parks in 1 day, I highly doubt you will enjoy your day. If you really cant reschedule and can only fit this into 1 day, I say stay at WW and take your pick of entertainment for that night.

1 person sitting next to 8 chairs stacked up? Then someone please take as many chairs as possible. They arent even being used. Lifeguards stack them every night to save space. Unstack them and feel free to put them wherever you like. Nobody can hog 8 unused chairs with nothing on them. Im sure hes fine with you taking them. If not, let him know, lifeguard, or manager.

Chair hogs are frustrating but what can be done about that?
People hogging chairs with nothing on them? How many where they hogging? Why?

People need to put their towel and drink somewhere for when they come back and need a break. Plus, it is hard to find a chair at times. That is why I try to get there early, under the free cabanas in front of Waikiki Wave. That is the best view! For me, it is too boring looking at Splashaway Cay, Wave Pool, or Coconut Cove. I like to see action on a water slide or the Lazy River, but they only have paid cabanas there.

Most parks do it this way.

Season Pass - After bought, you get free entry into the park. Nothing else.

Mega Pass, about $30ish more - Same as Season Pass, plus you get to bring in up to 2-6 friends for a discount or free, free tube, discounted locker rental, discounts at restaurants and stores inside park, and free mug.

Swoosh - Ever since I saw that video, I said "No way. No F'n way! The land clearing is way too big and they know we deserve something better than this little piece of $#!+!. I also knew there was no way we would ever get a station turntable."

Shave - I am extatic about this coaster. Have been ever since the speculation started. Once I heard the word Mack, my head turned with eyes popping out. This could be the thing that fills my broken heart that broke when CC closed and the best coaster ever was never going to be rode again. Ive just been trying not to act like a psycho and get kicked off. That is why you cant see it. I have been trying to keep up the only way I know how, with forums like this. You say theres more I could do? More sites to keep track of this? Please tell me more because I dont know how.

Did a quick scan of the SDC thread on TPR today - first time I've been there in about a month - a couple of you guys seem to be transfixed on this "turntable" thing where there are spinning and non-spinning trains.  As cool as that might be, please explain where (with the current structure) they are going to fit that in the station.

Sorry.  There's going to be one type of train.  They said this is going to be a first of its kind.  A traditional train has been done before.  I think we all know what that means.

LaWayne, I'm still not convinced those are maintenance bays but it would make sense.  IMHO they will have a track that rotates 180° and then the small 4 car train can go on in the bays. There's probably going to be a curved track that connects then to this swivel track.

At first it sounds like you are saying there will not be a turntable. Near the end you say there will be a swivel track that rotates 180°. Please explain the difference.

WW has free parking for everyone. No VIP parking. I know SDC has the Trailblazer pass, but Im pretty sure WW does not have any kind of trailblazer pass unless they recently got it (correct me if Im wrong). Theres no way a Trailblazer pass could work there. SDC has a Showlovers pass, but this is WW we are talking about. So yes, they have extra things on the side you may buy, but they dont have an actual Mega Pass with 5+ extras along with free entry all year. I wont be surprized if they do start their version of an actual Mega Pass which some parks have.
