I was in line at PowderKeg very early in the season and they were playing bluegrass all the while openly making comments about burning the MP3 they WOULD be playing the rest of the year.
The management must know they are breaking the theme and for what ever reason they are allowing it.
Is this because its the " Big" roller coaster right now? the one the kids like to ride?
I will comment if given a survey this year.

I am sensing that some of you all need to be a little more tolerant

I know I need to learn, I try to be very aware of how my actions effect others.  THere are so many people out there who do not.
Its a real pet peeve of mine.

This happened the other day when a girl took forever putting her loose articles in the storage boxes.

I hope she felt like a real dumb A##, cause people like that are.  I would have loved to be there when she realized that her messing around had screwwed up the entire operation.  That stuff really aggravates me. I detest dealing with selfish people that cant get it together.........

Large signs all over the tram area PLEASE CLOSE STROLLERS BEFORE BOARDING THE TRAM.

Get it together people..................

If they were about to retrofit roaring falls to the plunge area using the old plunge track then swap them out. I am afraid that would be cost prohibitive though.
although it would allow a large increase in people per hour.

Wildcat would be wonderful, but it sure seems expensive to move that.
It could run 3 trains if it was retooled the correct way.

Honestly I think I would welcome a Adventure Mountain over that common water ride.

You would think that they would announce something soon as the summer is closing.
When in the season did they make the announcement about Wildfire?
Or PowderKeg?

The guys and gals in the saloon show were giving it their all but oh, that script... When they were given a chance to sing and dance, the energy level shot up. When they were talking (and talking and talking) and telling bad jokes, the audience got visibly restless.

When Cary Nation was there and they were a cpl years back and we went to the Saloon show so they could cool off, I was visibly embarrassed by the poor show, script and music " Its raining men"? it was really not up to SDC standards.

We will not be back to the saloon show, they are now reaping the fruits of there labour , bad script and sorry numbers, it isn't the actors, its the directors and writers.
Years ago I would brag about SDC entertainment but things have changed, and apparently I am not the only one that feels that way, the lack of crowds in the shows plays testament to the issue.

It isn't that high.

sticking with bluegrass doesn't offend anyone or cause them to complain, nor does it drive anyone away. Modern (especially pop) music does, while apparently not attracting anyone who wouldn't already be there.
....How can you argue with this ?........

Some places have to stay true to themselves! And SDC is one of them!
Simply put and too the point.
Well said

It would have been cool to me at that age to hear that stuff back then
I agree, but do the kids complain about the music at SDC during the day?
I think its too far or a departure.
Apparently I am old as well.

I saw both of the Peter Paul and Mary concerts.  I wish they would do things like that more often.
It was packed out when it was free.
