TPR's first video update from IAAPA includes footage of the unveiling plus several great interviews with Joel Manby,  Pete Herschend, and Alan Schilke. http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1247233#p1247233

Another interesting note, S&S has a new tower design with higher capacity.... Consider some of the concept artwork we've seen from the park in recent years, this could be something they've looked into.

Seating is round, as well as the tower. Seems intamin struck out with forward tilting seats, will other come up with a better design to do this? S&S now has new Japanese owners.

Seems gravity group is putting a barrel roll using timberliner trains on Hades at MT. Olympus as a response.

GCI introduced a neat, small footprint wood shuttlecoaster today as well.

We all love The City. I don't get the suspense on what seems like trivial construction that the vast majority of park goers will likely notice. I get major projects and such. Info about the park shouldn't be a competition though.

Oh, and the new Bond flick kicks tail.

I never once rode Buzzsaw Falls. There was a time of 10 years, I didn't visit the park.

Arkansas Game and Fish denied, denied, denied for the longest time and now the line is that they are exotic pets that got released when the owners couldn't handle them any longer or afford to feed them.  Also, the theory is they are the native pop from Mexico that's made the long journey here over time. The original species found in the Ozarks way back were more in common to the florida panthers much like the long vanished eastern elk.

Probably because all of the managers at Magic Springs are at the races themselves! :D

Magic Springs is definitely more of a summer destination for sure. Perhaps if they could find a way to market themselves earlier, and later in the year.

I wish for a  late summer/fall meet.

One of the problems with Magic Springs is that it doesn't overlap Oaklawn's racing season much, if at all. I don't think people realize how many families go the races.

Move being made for just the waterpark...does not surprise me. Magic Springs has been there a long time, and closed for several years before being bought, totally revamped, and now, the new owners realize why the park closed in the first place.I am sure the water park is what is making them money.

The other ride going is the wild mouse. I get that the waterpark needs to be the focus at this point and easiest way to drive up numbers bit I hope they don't completely ditch the dry side.

As luck would have it, I found mine in my mailbox as soon as I posted about not receiving it yet! :D

It does say that the moonlight vouchers are all day and night. Previously they were good after 6 pm only. But, they were free.

Good point. That would explain the $20 charge as a person can now get in from dawn to dusk with that price.

Sounds like a compromise for those sp holders that complained that the BAF hours were to limiting during that time.
We'll get two adults and two children and with that we'll likely bring 20 different people to the park that will spend money on concessions.

Poor KC Chiefs.. :'(

These guys?

I grew up a disciple of Staubach and Dorsett but I've never hated the Chiefs. Never been a fan but often found myself pulling for them. Thought they had a good, loyal fan base. I feel for those fans. My cowboys are lost in the cloulds and my college team is leaderless wandering through the SEC. Oof.

This year's ornament is a nail.  Supposed to remind us of the real reason for the season... seems more appropriate for an Easter ornament than Christmas, but whatever.

yep

I don't know if they're even gonna actually do an Avatar section (which I have no problem with; there's some amazing worldbuilding in that movie, even if the narrative is weaksauce); it's been delayed, from what I've heard.

Man, I would LOVE a full blown Star Wars theme park. That'd certainly be a way for WDW to counter Wizarding World at Universal.

Scroll down a bit and this will cover where that all stands.
