I went in and talked to the craftsmen about those Heartland Furnishings windows, and they’re supposed to be removed when demonstrations begin. They’re still fitting some of the line shaft equipment, most notably the upper portions of the scroll saw, and putting safety guards on the tools. Very much looking forward to seeing the new shop in action.

So...with weather conditions being pretty bad this Thursday, will SDC close?

It's looking likely enough that I've cancelled my Thursday trip up from Arkansas. I'd been looking forward to it for several weeks, but now I'm aiming for a day after Christmas instead, if I'm able. Plus, a three hour drive into the Ozarks in the predicted conditions would be no joke.

Today was a good day at the park despite the reduced ride capacity and masks, which I didn’t personally find to be too bad. Lines were mostly short. I managed to get the following footage of MRF being tested, and as I was filming, Terry Wayne Sanders (dressed as the undertaker) walked by, noticed me filming, and confirmed that the ride should be opening in about three weeks.
