So they aren't demolishing the whole place down?
If so, that's a relief, but at the same time, from a buissiness perpective, the land CC is on is clearly not meant for
a theme park experiance. This is at least the 3rd time the land has been closed to be re-opened. Perhaps a more simple attraction is in order, something more adult, like a resort hotel and resteraunt, or a premeir shopping area? CC is fun for me about once a year, so I'm only conrtibuing about $150.00 to CC a year, including ticket prices, food and drink, and various souveniers. It's just not a big money maker.

Usually about this time of the year we know if anything big is coming, so either they are buying another used ride or not getting anything at all.
CC has potential, but it needs more attention to meet that potential.
For example, maybe the "Soup of the day" at the pasta restaurant could be an actual soup of the day rather than just chicken noodle every day.

Or Mike Rowe.

Hey, are there any notable "dirty jobs" at SDC?

It depends on what you mean by dirty.
I'm sure there are plenty of jobs at SDC that are not pleasant. For example, janitor. I've seen some messed up stuff in those bathrooms.  :-X

I'd rather just have the front-of-the-line option, and skip out on all the photos.
I came to have fun, not to do a photo shoot...if you I mean.
That's just me though, I'm sure some people would LOVE to take some photos with that um......lively....gang. ::)

I think it's great they are building the splash battle, although it doesn't appeal to me very much.
I hope they really go with the theme with this, and make a whole area of it, not just the splash battle.
It does appeal to families with kids of all ages, but it would of been nice to have something new for ACE.
Oh yeah, I haven't been on here in about a month, but I was at Midnight Madness. Pretty fun, but the turnout
wasn't near what I expected. :-\
Whoops! I meant Moonlight Madness^^ ;D

I went back to SDC on Sunday.
Everything is still pretty much the same.
There is a hole in the fence which construction is going on behind, about the width of my hand, which a lot of people were peeking through. I took a quick peek, but other than a large hole in the ground, nothing to report :-\

I rode it last Sunday Afternoon.
I did get REALLY wet, but the whole thing felt kinda sad, since I was one of the only few people riding it.
It's really a shame, they did a nice job with the landscaping around it. I ate at the pasta-pizza-salad place, I forgot the name, something with an M. The salad was good, but the "Soup of the Day" was just chicken noodle, not much of a soup of the day. I get the feeling the "soup of the day" is chicken noodle pretty much every day...

Disneyland in Joplan?
Joplin is okay, but nowhere near enough of a tourist attraction
to fathom a Disneyland. If it did happen, that would be bad news for SDC, Six Flags, Worlds of Fun, Magic Springs, and anything else in the area.

The fact that it is the tallest, will be enough to draw in people from around the US. I DROVE to New Jersey just for Kingda Ka, and I wouldn't be suprised if alot of other people will be attracted to it too.
Pilgrim's Plunge: Bad Name, Bad Park Section.
If they could fit it into the 4th of July Section, that might be slightly better. They could call it "Eagle Splash" or something, and paint the supports and boats red, white and blue. Still wouldn't quite fit, but that would be better than trying to theme it to Thanksgiving!

I've never ridden a ProBowl before,
but if Bermuda Triangle goes, a ProBowl would definitely be a large possibility.

How has CC's attendance been this year?
I went last year, and it was pretty bad...
I'm going tommarow most likely, I've been wanting to try out
Roaring Falls for a while now.
I'm hoping it isn't exactly like the one at six Flags St. Louis, but since this one came from a Six Flags, I have a feeling it is.

I just rode Roaring Falls like 3 weeks ago.
I might have said this before, but they should have painted it.
Laser would be a great addition, and if they stuck with the neon color scheme, would fit nicely
with the "Celebration" Theme. Maybe even add a few laser effects? What ever they get, it better not be
another flat ride. [

I'm sure they have something planned, but that area doesn't have too much more growing room, yet I couldn't stand to see anything go, except maybe Bermuda Triangle, I fell of my tube on that slide once!
