Time to start the new thread for 2017.
As most of you already know, we as members of SDCFans, get a Very nice discounted room rate at Classic Motor Inn. They are located on Shepherd Of The Hills Expressway, typically about a 10 minute drive from SDC. Our nightly rate is only 40 + tax, with 2 exceptions.
#1 There are no discounted rooms during Car Show Weekend (2nd week in August).
#2 During the off season Jan1 - mid march the rate is 35.00 + tax.
If you are a new member and have any questions about Classic, please post them here. Several of us stay here off and on all year around, last year "we" (members), stayed over 400 nights at this motel.
Classic is locally owned, the owners live on site as well as the Manager. That way they can take care of any "needs" you may have immediately.
Imenities:
most rooms have pillow top mattress,
some rooms have flat screen TV
Wi-Fi to all rooms
Fridge in all rooms,
Microwave in all rooms,
Coffee Pots are available upon request,
They do have pet rooms, and welcome them
Cont. Breakfast. including, Biscuits and Gravey, French Toast, Donuts, Toast, Waffles, Cereal, Milk, Juice, Fruit Cocktail. Now keep in mind, this is not a Buffet from Golden Corral.. But it is a good way to start your day, and is included with your room.
Ice machine for your room on premises,
Nice outdoor swimming pool,
Lots of parking available, and room for small trailers out back.
Every night they make Fresh Popcorn and Chocolate Chip Cookies for customers
Overall this is a great deal for all of us, and as I stated earlier several of us stay here throughout the year, and have stayed here for at least 3 years, some of us up to 5 years or more..
Give K.D. a call. She will appreciate it, and they will all take care of you. One thing when making your reservations, make sure you tell them you are a member of SDCFans. So they know to extend the 40.00 rate to you. You must call. Cant do reservations on the website, computer, or other websites..

I often stay in Branson and book my rooms online.....biggest fear is that you really dont know what your getting. My concern is always "How clean is the room". Usually a low price is often met by "you get what you pay for". So my question for you is this...Are they clean rooms?

I stay in the pet rooms at the Classic many nights a year and yes they are clean. They still have a cpl older box tvs in a cpl pet rooms, if that's really important to you the radisson for 125$ should be your speed. I have always been really well taken care of and if I cant stay at the classic I just drive home. My family was in the hospitality business and these folks do a great job with your needs and run a reputable safe place. For the money you can not beat it, you will also find the location is one of the best spots in Branson, no traffic snarls out the front of the hotel because its right off the strip. One right turn and you are 5 min from SDC. Check out google maps, location cant be beat. Highly recommend. You can spend a lot more elsewhere but I would rather spend my money on a good dinner than a hotel room.

We always stay at Classic when we go to Branson. The rooms are clean and KD is always friendly and accomedating. Good location.

We don't have definite times for our visits yet.....we are still dealing with lawyers and doctors from Bob's accident on Dec.2015. We are thinking about late May or early June for our first visit if we can arrange arrange it with all that's going on here.

This is the only motel we stay at. Always clean. Always friendly. Quiet. Other guests are friendly and respectful. You will not be sorry.

I'm here as we speak. K.D. is very nice and we got the SDC fans discount. Great room! Pillow top mattress is so comfortable! Was gonna go to SDC wed/thu but it's going to rain Wednesday, so KD directed us to Country Market to buy half price tickets for Thursday. Will definitely make this my go to place to stay.

With Memorial weekend and Summer almost upon us, I wanted to bump this thread. Want to make sure any new members know about the benefit we have at Classic Motor Inn..
Our Discount Room Rate is only 40.00 per night all year long, Except Car Show weekend..(and now with SOTH shut down, that may not be accurate?)...
Anyway read the top of the thread for most of the details...

Another terrific stay at the Classic Motor Inn. Pups loved it as always and we are so blessed to have a place we trust with our beloved and cherished dogs. KD always takes great care of us and cannot imagine ever having to stay anywhere else. We've canceled trips in the past when we couldn't stay at the Classic Motor Inn.

Like it or not, Christmas Season will soon be here and then over... Winter is coming, shows shut down, SDC closed, Motels closed.....
DONT forget Classic Motor Inn is open ALL year around, We still have a great discount rate of 40.00 (talk to K.D.), AND after the first of the year, I think the rate will only be 35.00 per night through most of MArch! Thats right, cheap rooms for Spring Break!!
SO? Goin to Branson? Christmas, ? Off Season? Next Year? Give her a call..!

We stayed at end of September and had a good weekend stay. The friendliness and hospitality is the best part of the hotel. We did get our exercise climbing the hill; it was good for all of us. We will be back for our weekend getaways.

Just tried to reserve a room for this weekend. They have rooms available but would not honor the rate. We have a reservation for next weekend we made last week and they honored it for then. Never had a problem with this before.

After calling back and talking to a different person she did honor the rate. Evidentially when they start running low on rooms they don’t offer the $40 rate.

Sometime the new, (and old) help forgets the "deal" we get.

Talked to K.D., and we worked out the details for 2018.
Same 40 bucks,
Thanksgiving weekend will be a black out weeked, But did get a price of 50 dollars tied in for that weekend.

There seems to be one of their people up there is is misinformed or just being a pain. Maybe that is who I talked to the time they would not give us the $40 rate. They did every other time we have stayed, and we have stayed quite a few times.

Yes, there seems to be a "weak link" in the front office area from time to time. (new help, old help). LOL
thus why i suggest asking for K.D..
Make sure they know we are from SDCFan site, and our rate is 40.00,
Should there ever be a question or concern, feel free to call K.D. at her cell, or PM me.. THere wer a couple of instances this year where i was PM'd because of cost concerns, I contacted KD, and everything was straightened out.
I know sometimes there is a "hassle", I apoligize, KD apoligizes, But She does appreciate the business, AND overall I think they do a good job for us. I do like it there and I really like the location...
