Was wondering if anyone could provide some information on this tree that is located by the American Plunge. I am curious on who came up with this idea and some history behind it all. I also know that Dollywood also has a "water tree" that looks similar to the one at SDC. Thanks

Do you have a photo of it?
-
i think it's called the water tree because it's right next to the splash down on the plunge and therefore gets plenty of water
-
For those that don't remember, it's a tree with a small stump that spouts water. I'm not sure how they made it, but it's been around probably since the 70's. It's the type of thing that used to be a lot more impressive and cute.
It's one of the old "Andyisms" I'm pretty sure. I forget his full name, but an Andy Something-or-other was responsible at one point for coming up with a lot of clever nick-nacks that were spread through the park.

Give it time and they will take it away too. But I hope not. Yes its been reiterated on here a lot but its little things like that which makes the park special.

Figured Swoosh would know all about this lol.
SDC FAN curious to know other things in the park that you are talking about. I often go to SDC just to try to find things that I haven't seen before.

I think there is an old thread or two with "Andyisms" on the forum if you look.
