Title: New Construction Photos
Post by: shavethewhales on March 10, 2008, 08:40:14 PM
In case anyone hasn't been watching the home page, Copper sent in another round of photos today, showing off construction and some general park improvements.

The Culinary Arts School is actually a lot farther behind than I thought it would be. I thought they had all the ground stuff done a long time ago, so vertical construction has been going on for a few months... Then again, it is a special kind of building.

Glad to see some love being given to Flooded Mine, especially when it brings back retro theming.

Thanks for the pics Copper. (By the way I love the way you have the pics set up Steve, the way they pop up and such.)

So the new craft building won't open until the fall? I find that very surprising. Also what was going on at Thunderation just touch-up work?? And, (final question I promise) are the tombstones the only new addition to the Flooded Mine?

They only added gates to Thunderation's ride perimeter and I thought a different view of the ride would be fun. I did not ride the Flooded Mine, so I can't tell you if anything else has changed. I will let you know as soon as I find out! I don’t always know what to take pictures of, so let me know and I will get it.

I assume it's OK with the bosses that you're "leaking" these pics?

It's perfectly OK for those of us who are impatiently waiting for the season.

I know what they wouldn’t want me to say and show. I wouldn’t do anything that I am not suppose to do. I wouldn’t leek future plans or anything like that.
